Cloud-based building analytics platform

Although a Building Management System (BMS) can control and monitor energy consumption of a building, its alarms are typically triggered only after a fault or breakdown has occurred, which is often too late. These hinder facility managers from arranging proactive checks and rectifying problems on time.

A cloud-based building analytics platform can help you monitor and anaylse a facility or building asset’s health 7 x 24, identify potential faults in prior, and enhance operation by freeing up manpower.

How does it work?

How does it work?

Our cloud-based building analytics platform, Building Scope, utilises big data analytics to detect and diagnose operational irregularities and potential equipment health issues and predict failures by analysing existing sensor data information.

Integrating with the Building Management System (BMS), Building Scope detects and diagnoses facilities’ operations automatically based on data captured from the BMS and AI algorithms. Abnormal data patterns will be recognised and interpreted into insightful and actionable conclusions to assist the facility management team in improving a building’s safety and identifying energy-saving opportunities. The platform can proactively identify faults or problems that result in different perspectives, such as energy waste, equipment health issues, inefficiency, or downtime.

Features

Features

The platform enables automated fault detection and diagnostics through continuous monitoring & commissioning of operating systems with AI. Based on real-time and historical operation data and past energy usage data, the Diagnostics Engine can detect system and equipment anomalyand diagnose possible root causes of problems such as equipment performance deterioration or inappropriate setting of parameters/sequences.

The platform can identify the power meter with abnormal readings, diagnose the energy use, benchmark buildings’ energy efficiency, and provide a general understanding and comparable reference for asset management teams. Based on historical data and weather parameters, the platform can automatically predict the daily and monthly maximum energy demand.

Using real-time data of BMS, the platform provides tailor-made KPI modules for verifications and evaluations of internal management, such as energy efficiency, key operating parameters, etc. The maintenance team can also arrange performance review based on customised KPIs and prioritise fixes based on wattage savings.

Periodical diagnostic reports can be generated weekly, monthly, or seasonally to summarise findings and diagnoses on the operation. The energy efficiency report can monitor energy usage and individual equipment efficiency and describe incorrect operation sequences or abnormal run equipment detected.
